A highly educated workforce starts with solid childhood education. The San Gabriel Valley offers many local K-12 school districts that rank among the top in Los Angeles County.

Our schools boast many excellent programs for Workforce Development. For example, the K12 Foothill Consortium trains students for soft skills, offers mock interviews, and sets up pipelines for local trade and STEM programs.

Career Technical Education (CTE) is another hallmark of local schools, preparing students for rewarding careers even before they graduate high school. A small sample of our local programs includes:

To launch students towards their careers more efficiently, community college City College integrates students into its early college programs so they can be earning undergraduate units even before finishing their senior year of high school.
